Motivate

MONDAY MOTIVATION: JUST GET STARTED.

You know that big dream, that goal that you keep deep in your heart? The one that you think and fantasize about reaching someday?

Maybe you've spend countess minutes and hours daydreaming about this goal.

Maybe you've written a plan to get you to your dreams.

Maybe you've told everyone about you goal.

But, you haven't completely taken the leap of faith to make it reality. You think I just need a little more time, that the timing isn't right yet...or your plan isn't 100% ready...or you need to do xyz first...

HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF AND JUST TAKE THE LEAP OF FAITH!

JUST GET STARTED.

Getting after your dreams, doing something you've never done before can be scary. It requires moving outside of your comfort zone and into the unknown. We love stability. We love to feel comfortable.

Being outside of our comfort zone can be nerve-racking...but it can also be invigorating.

LET GO OF PERFECTIONISM.

Let go of the thought that you need to have a perfect plan before you get started. There is no perfect plan. Yes, a good plan is important, but being flexible and fearless is more important. As you're working towards your goal, you'll have to make tweaks along the way. Sometimes, you may have to make a major change to your plan to hit your goal. Something completely unexpected. Point of the matter is that you have to get started first.

DO NOT FEAR FAILURE.

Failure is a scary thing. We are so conditioned to being afraid to try and not succeed. We struggle with perfectionism. Sometimes the struggle to be perfect is so much that we never even try to make our dreams happen!

LET GO of the fear of failure the best that you can. Try to embrace situations that you don't get it right on the first try as a learning opportunity. Once we move past the idea that failure means we'll never succeed and instead look at failure as a chance to learn how to be better, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

What you're working towards may not be perfect and you may not know exactly how to get started, but the best way to get started is to just begin doing.
