I'm a Licensed Sports Nutritionist, Certified Personal Trainer, Functional Fitness Trainer, Yoga Teacher, Fat Loss Specialist, Healthy Living Expert, and Health & Fitness Writer, located just outside of New York City, in Hoboken, NJ.
Fitness has always been a huge part of my life. I received my first group fitness certifications in 2004 and began teaching group classes at my local college recreation center. While I loved fitness, after graduating college I jumped into a medical sales career in New York City.
During this time, I became highly trained and worked closely with the following conditions and disease states:
IBS- Irritable Bowel Syndrome, IBD- Inflammatory Bowel Disease, EPI- Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, Peptic Ulcers, Constipation, Bloating, Diabetes, Obesity, Hypertension (High Blood Pressure).
Even with a busy career, fitness and nutrition remained a huge part of my life. I learned how to maintain a healthy lifestyle sustainable despite living in the city that never sleeps and being always on the go with my job. While at times it wasn't easy, I learned how to make it work given my current situation.
Always trying new workouts, I discovered Hot Power Yoga and CrossFit (which are both still a huge part of my training today) and I was ALL IN. I wanted to know everything about fitness and nutrition. I continued to acquire additional fitness certifications and became a Licensed Nutritionist.
The more learned about wellness, the more I realized that many of the conditions I was working with daily could be managed, if not prevented, by proper fitness and nutrition.
I knew I could make a greater impact on lives as a Nutritionist & Fitness Trainer so I left my corporate career to pursue my passion.
Today, I motivate and help clients internationally reach their weight loss and fitness goals!
